Using technology-based vocabulary instruction inside and outside of the classroom

Introduction The current pre-test post-test study explored the use of WhatsApp for vocabulary acquisition inside and outside English as a Foreign Language classroom. Methods Native Arabic undergraduate students learned items both classroom using groups. Pre- post-tests gauged participants, knowledge used in intervention well control items. An additional questionnaire participants' satisfaction with Results We found small, but significant, learning effect classroom, no such results additionally showed that were highly satisfied to learn vocabulary, especially terms instructor availability. Finally, we who more motivated higher gains than those less motivated. Discussion discuss respect role space motivation technologies WhatsApp.
